I have a client who has several photos he wants to display on his site. Rather then just pasting them on the page I was thinking about some type of photo display script, maybe something that looks like a film strip with thumbnails in the frames and when a user clicks on an image it opens up a larger image.

I am not sure if such a thing exist but I thought I would put out the question and see if anyone knows of a script or something that will display thumbnails until they are clicked on.

There are literally hundreds of bits of software that create photo galleries with a few mouse clicks, and I confess I used to use one that did it with SWF export (only because I couldn't be bothered to take hours doing this myself - and if I had, it wouldn't have been cost affective for the type of sites in question). I can't mention any of them here, but I'm sure a quick Google session would throw up many.

PS. If you had one that exported it as HTML, you could then edit that, to incorperate it into your site.

Here [hotscripts.com] is Hotscript's directory of Image Galleries for PHP. Best of luck!
