I seem to be having a hard time adjusting to 7. I can't figure out to edit text with it. Anyone know?
I still haven't figured how to change the scale on a layer by a specific percent, or recreate the same kind of outer glow effects I could with 5 either.
Guess its back to 5 again.

Do you have your options toolbar open? (window > options) you can edit text using this. apple+T or ctrl+T will let you scale (transform) layers. And the layer style command in the layer menu has all the effects that 5 had - what effect are you trying to accomplish? I am certain you can do all that you could with v5. I am the same mind, I use DW mx in the DW4 view and have found the move from 7 to CS presents the same little hitches. :)
