Dashed Line in Fireworks

This is one you can go around your office saying, 'you'll never guess what some idiot has asked on WebmasterWorld' - but here goes...

I am trying to draw a simple, dashed line in Fireworks 3 (yes it's an old version).

Literally, create a line with the line tool and then add a 'dash' and I can't for the life of me see how it's done in this program.

I can't accept I've got to go into Illustrator or Freehand just to do this!

Can somebody put me out of my misery please?

I don't have a copy of FW3 to look at, but could FW4 be that much different? If not, try here [joycejevans.com]. At the least it might give you some clues until someone else chimes in.

[edit]Curiosity got the better of me, and apparently this [macromedia.com] pages offers a solution for version 2 and 3.[/edit]
