Hey boys/girls

This is my first massage on the board.... I'm excited.. ;)

Anyway, I am looking for a fast and easy way to add 2-3 sec of TEXT in the end of a small movie clip in MPG format.
I am going to have few mpgs that I will need to add a text : Press here to enter the website .

What program I need? There is any good program I can use?

- I don't have any expirience with Video-editting....

Thanks.

Can't be done with MPEG.

It can be done with Windows Media and Flash, though.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld cdxx
Could you not put the address at the end of the movie instead of the "click" option? That would be simple enough to to.

Yes, but the point is that I have a /directory/balblablablablabla.html

And I want to make it easier...
I have mpgs already. What is the easiest way to do it?

Thanks in advance,

Hmmm.. You said in your first post that they were to "Press here to enter the website", I presumed that would be your home/index page? As HughMungus said, it can be done with Flash and that may be your best option. You could I suppose force the clip to be played in the browser via a realmedia or quicktime plugin, and then have hyperlinks on that page (below the clip or something) to the pages you want, but I would personally stick to just have the address of my site in text, and would have sub links to those buried pages on my index page to save them time.
I have had people send me funny little video clips in email, and usually zipped. I then watch them offline...

if you want a clickable hyperlink to appear on an video file you'll have to use flash

if you want to add text to any type of video format, use windows movie maker or one of the Ulead softwares, they have free trials

First of all, thanks for everyone who try to help. I appriciate it...

Ok, lets say I will convert them to another format (lets say Avi).

1. Will it be easier to do it?
2. Will now I will be able to add a IMAGE + Link (press here for....)

Thanks.

You are essentially talking about 2 completely different things: Video and Html. Video really has nothing to do with "interactivity", therefore there is no way to make it so. However, there are some video formats that are designed for the web, and offer some forms and ways for people on the net to interactive with them. As has been said, the only real way to to what you want is with Flash, but I still think it is a venture too far. If you simply add your web address as an end title screen in your movie, and people are unable to type that into their address bar and then navigate to the pages you suggest... then they probably shouldn't be surfing the net in the first place. Rather than you asking about each video format (as there are many), look at Flash first and then maybe windows media as HughMungus suggested, but I have know idea about the latter myself.
