I have a problem with the beckground of several web pages. The background image is listed in de .css file, and shows correctly, and when I upload the whole project to a webserver, there isn't even a problem (nor when I run it locally).
But! It is ment to be distributed on cd, and then (or when I put in on a local network drive) the background flashes between pages. Zo if i click a hyperlink to ga to another page, the screen becomes white, and then loads the background an content again. This problem isn't there in Firefox (in Safari a little bit but not anoying). In IE 6 on the other hand this is quite an anoying problem, so it would be a great relief is someone should know about a workaround for this problem (or maybe someone knows what causes it and if it will be sorted out in a future release of IE?).
I am making a html help system with robohelp(macromedia) and there are quite a lot of pages, so a .css solution would be the easyest, but if there is no other, maybe anyone knows of a javascript or so to avoid this problem?
Excuse me for my English, and thanks in advance...
