Accidental click with polygon lasso

How can I 'undo' an accidental click when using the polygon lasso tool?

Hi there

I use Macromedia Fireworks MX for image editing, but I suspect/hope that this problem can be fixed using techniques from other software...

I often use the Polygon Lasso tool for clear-cutting images. However often while making my points around an object I want to select, I make an accidenal mouse click, which places one of the polygon selection points in the wrong place.

Does anyone know how to undo one of these accidental clicks rather than cancelling and starting again?

(I know this solution will only save a few seconds, but it will prevent much frustration!)

Also, I've tried Edit > Undo but it doesn't work in this instance.

Don't think it can be done. It registers only a complete selection as a history item. FW therefore does not judge an individual click as a single process - hence no undo.

The + & - selection tool could be used to correct mistakes without having to start again on complex selections.

Sorry, best I can offer.

Maybe I should't post here since I know nothing of Fireworks - but in Photoshop it's the delete button to undo an accidental click with the polygonal lasso. You could try it.

I don't think it can be done. It is a real pain if you have to start again on using it.

Control-Z work?

Nope. As I badly explained before fireworks doesn't view it as an action so will not allow undo. It only allows this when the selection is complete. No good.
