Ok..I just installed P7 and started using it. When I tried to save for the web, it automatically assumed that I was going to slice the image. How can I get rid of these annoying slices so I can save the whole image as 1 file? Or at least, how can I resize the size of each slice? They are all fixed. I got very frustrated with this.

Press "k" on your keyboard.
Select the slices and delete them.

Hope it helps. Can't remember exactly.

You also could open the image in ImageReady and deal with the slices there.

You also have two slicing tools in the toolbox.. a slicer and a slice select tool. Make sure you have the slice select tool active before you try selecting them.

You can switch between the two by holding down the mouse button on the slicer tool button.

Hi...thanks for the response. I press K on my keyboard while trying selecting the slices (but I could only select 1 slice at a time) and hit delete, but nothing happened.

I also didn't see any other tool other than a hand, slice select tool, magnifying glass, eyedropper color and toogle slices visibility.

I'm on Windows 98, by the way. And the screen I'm talking about is Save For Web (File -> Save For Web).

Anyone know?

Thanks.

In Imageready you can select more than one slice at once, but not in PhotShop. ImageReady is really the best environment for all things slicey.
