Hi,

I am creating a site for a band that I know and they have some MP3s that they want visitors to be able to play.

Can anyone recommend anything that will let me do this? I would like something that has a play/stop function.

I realise I can just upload them and link to them directly but this can cause problems when stopping the MP3.

Thanks :)

The indie band audience likes to use their own players I would upload and just link. The people who are coming to the site like what they have and don't like to be forced into something else.

The easiest would be to let the user download the mp3.
If you want to stream, you could use Gnump3d if your webhost will allow it.
You could even use Quicktime streaming but it's a little more cumbersome to setup.
Also, Gnump3d will stream to any local mp3 player that uses m3u files (playlists)

How so?

Sometimes (Not sure why) the MP3s create their own panel in explorer and when you close the panel the MP3 doesn't stop.
