My website design partner has created a page that uses some nice typographical lettering as a light background (placed roughly at center of page). We're trying to create an effect like a watermark on paper, only using light blue font against cream background. We've been told by client that that the blue background type does not show up on small screens, eg 12-14". We verified this ourselves to some degree on a 12" laptop, where the background image was visible but faint. Question: is there any reason why the smallness of the screen (and that alone) should be reducing the visibility of the background image?
Thanks,
