Idea for wedding invitations

I'm not sure if this the best place to post this but my sister is getting married and I wanted to try doing a nice design for the wedding invitations. Now since her name is Dana and his name is Dan I thought it would be nice to play a bit with the 2 D letters, someway, maybe have them leaning against each other, maybe have them incorporate 2 rings ... I don't know. Do you know a font with a nice D?

I'm not exactly versed with Illustrator but with the right idea I'm willing to try :).

If there are better forums where I could post this or have any suggestions at all, please sticky me or post it here.

Thanks!

in illustrator:

choose the desired 'D'
after typing it, select it
then, Object-->Create Outline
--that step will find all the points of the curves
then, Edit-->Ungroup
--that step will allow you to edit the points individually
deselect the 'D' and reselect it with the white arrow
use the white arrow to manipulate each bezier curve or point individually

by doing this you can control the the way a letter looks. it's a good way to tweak a letter until it is just right
