Does anyone know of a tutorial I could read that would help me create a spinning web button when the cursor is over it? Thanks

You can do this without a tutorial. It's easier than you might think. I know you have fireworks from another post, Do you have Dreamweaver?

If so:

Create you 'over' and 'off' instances in fireworks and make sure you have specified the same dimensions for each image

off = static image.
over = animated GIF

Open Dreamweaver

> Insert > interative image > rollover image

Insert static as 'original' and aniGIF as 'rollover'

Save page and Press F12 :)

Limbo is right
And you can also insert a Flash spinning button.
In your DreamWeaver, select "Insert">"Interactive Images">"Flash Button".Select your favorite style and type some word on it,fill the URL in blank. Press OK.
Then Press F12 to review. Exciting.

Flash buttons are generaly to be avoided. Navigation should not rely on the use of third party plugins or javacript which can be disabled.

Sure the site should look good but where navigation is concerned, if a user cant use it, your site is useless.
