Heyas:)

I have just switched to only using Linux as my desktop platform. I'm as happy as a pig in mud with this other than the fact that I'm having trouble working out how to compress .png files.

I have a 53.8kb png which I'm using as a background at my LUG site. Waaaaay too big!

Can anyone suggest a easy tool to compress this with? I'm running Fedora Core 1.

Cheers.

This is the beast you need.

[pmt.sourceforge.net...]

Also make sure you play with changing the mode from rgb and limiting the pallete, those can have a huge affect.
