Best way to do rounded edges in photoshop?

I am having trouble doing this... I am curious of different techniques that others find effective.

In PS7 the easiest example is to use the rounded rectangle tool and set the radius of the curves to whatever your preference is. If you have something specific you want to do in terms of rounded edges post about it and I'm sure we can give you some more specific suggestions.
