How can I make a thumbnail picture of a website to show on my own website?

First take a screen capture, then reduce the size of that image in your graphics program of choice.

You can buy special screen capture programs, but I usually use the Print Scrn button to put the screen content on the clipboard, and then paste it into a canvas in Photoshop.

Oh yes, and make sure you have the rights to reproduce the page, even at a small size.

Google for "browsercam" - I found them yesterday and was very impressed.

If you need a good graphics program to make web graphics and thumbnails try "Irfanview".

It is a great FREE graphics program. It is very easy to resize images with. If you don't need all the bells and whistles of Photoshop, this is a good program,

I use paint for screen capturing - the best one I've ever seen, heres how to take a snapshot using Paint and your keyboard:
1) On you're keyboard find F12, beside that there'll be a button called "Prt Scr___SysRq"
2) Press it when you're ready to take a snapshot.
3) Open paint and press "Ctrl + V"
4) Now you will see the image appearing on paint, covered in a box , which you can resize, etc.
5) Re-size it to your needs, save it and ta-da! ready!

Thanks for advices.

thumnail.com seems to be OK if the site is on dmoz. I needed a site pic from a small obscure European server so I tried Print Scrn + Copy/paste. I works fine.
Thanks a lot!
