I'm very intrested in creating Animations, specially 2d, and when I finish, I put it on DVDs and play them on my TV, it works great.
but....
I usually use Adobe Premiere for the animations, and have to do them frame by frame by frame by frame and drawing and colouring each frame is hard, so I usually do 10 sec animations only (max) :( which of course require a lot of work :(.
I'm looking for a 2d software, which is just like 3d studio MAX, where you don't have to do it frame by frame, you can just put key-frames, but I want it to create only 2d ones.

Any help would be appreciated,
Sid

Have you tried Adobe After Effects? Using Illustrator (or FreeHand) and Photoshop to create the symbols, After Effects is an effective composition application.

And of course there's Flash and Director.
