Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say what a great asset this site has been so far and Ive only been here lurking for 2 days.

In any case, a few friends and I have started up a small business that does this type of work. The main question we have as we are starting up concerns accepting payments from clients. Questions we have concern credit cards, purchase orders, etc.

Its just a grey cloud for us right now and we are looking for a little advice.

Are you looking to accept credit cards online or will clients be more likely to give you their card number? Where do you reside? This will make a difference with your options.

For general business start up help, such as dealing with purchase orders and other aspects of business, the Small Business Association can give you a wealth of information if you are in the US. There are also many business start up books that can help guide you when you are starting up.
