Well, I'm getting a referral from a friend to do a simple online course delivery website.

Basically, a login, to a secure area where they can d/l course material. bla bla
Not to hard really.

The problem is, the client is too far away to meet in person. With todays technology that shouldn't be a problem, but, here are my questions.

Assuming I have to manage, hosting, registering a domain, etc...

How do you manage not only the costing of this, but the scheduling of future billings. Meaning when their domain bill comes again that they get billed, not me, etc...

What kind of contract templates are there. Like I said, I'm new to this from the management side and don't have anything to start from, all my current work is done for internal use within the college I work for, so there are no contracts to worry about.

Are there any "Web Development Management" type websites out there, with articles I can read?

Thanks for the help,

What I do usually is to get their credit card number for the hosting and domain and enter that straight in. That way they will automatically get billed and you dont have to think twice about it again.
