Software to record customer requests and calls etc

Hi, Can someone recommend some free or cheap CRM (I think thats what it is) software to allow me to process customer requests by e-mail or phone. Also to allow me to process returs of good with an RMA number. I am not sure if this is the right forum for this request.

What's an RMA number? Hm, for something so specific, you might be better off checking a script archive like sourceforge, freshmeat, hotscripts, etc.

I think you're asking for too much from a cheap CRM package (I think you mean a contact manager, not CRM) if you want RMA (Returned Merchandise Number) tracking as well. Most of the cheap ones will let you add custom fields and I think most have free trial versions so you can check them out.
