Run my own sites (4 and 2 more on the way) in my spare time (and some freelance stuff).
BTW, when I first discovered WW 8 months ago I only had 1 site of my own and no other sites designed! :)
Cheers WebmasterWorld! :)
it also means doing everthing on the private website myself from content to design to programming to marketing as i can't afford to pay for help.
i am lucky enough to have been offered a 3 day week consultancy from the end of this month. so i will be setting up my own company doing 3 days paid work and 3 days on new website.
no, not much time for socialising but yes it's definitely worth it!
Regardless... 3 years, 6 months to retire! :)
So, technically, I'm part time webmaster but since the site is now pulling in a tidy sum I can afford to quit the "joe job", as soon as I've groomed my replacement (good replacement programmers are hard to find).
Evenings are now spent building my first affiliate site which sould be up and running by Summer
And I can honestly say I wouldn't have got this far so quickly without the help of you guys :)
Thankyou all :)
...and, oddly, none of my websites are about photography (though one does have a page about my really, really horrible experiences with a NYC photo dealer).
<added>Oh, and for those of you not getting much sleep, the band Barenaked Ladies have an amusing message for you: "Who needs sleep? / Well you're never gonna get it / Who needs sleep? / Tell me what's that for? / Who needs sleep? / Be happy with what you're getting / There's a guy that's been awake since the second World War"</added>
