Can anyone point me toward figures which indicate how many newcomers
there were to the web during 2002?

It seems to me that scads of people became much more comfortable
shopping online during 2002 and my own numbers (happily) indicate
that.

Or did I just get better at the game? That's possible: I altered
things pretty much weekly during the entire year. Tweaked my bloody
head off all the time.

I don't know the current numbers / percentages of people who are
online and would like to know who is keeping best track of this.
