Im launching a new site and want to copyright all the content that i use on the site, where do i go to do that?
Im doing a fan site for a entertainer and want to keep it my own property for as long as i can..

"All artwork, HTML, and graphic design used on this website are the sole property of name and may not be reproduced in any way, shape, form, or manner online without explicit written consent from the above party. No HTML, artwork, or graphic designs may be used for commercial purposes. The above are Name 1998-2001"

this law im interested in finding more info,is it safe...

Since we don't profit from this site, we are protected from prosecution under Fair Use in US Code, Title 17, Section 107.

thanks for any help

If you search for Copyright website, you'll find some choices. They contain a good deal of background information about the issues.

I used a service offered by Benedict, and found it quite easy to use. I received my US copyright registration papers in the mail, about 3 months later.
