Address Verification system/database for Europe

Is there a European version of 192.com

Hi,

We have been using <services> for verification of all our UK orders, this has helped us to minimise fraud and keep chargebacks below 0.25%

Now I am quite keen to expand into the European market, but the only thing stopping us is Address Verification in Europe.

I have ordered a copy of <a program> but I think we need a better solution, as this only covers a limited number of countries.

I would appreciate if anyone could help me out with any products they may have used or know about.

any countries they don't list, go to google and search for "country name white pages" and you should find what you need.

I think the Euro Disk which we have ordered is basically the same as the Infobel product for Europe.

hi shak,

you can get address data from Deutsche Post for germany (see if a provided streetname, postcode and city match). moderators, don't drive me mad by deleting the company name, this is the state post office, a monopoly.

in austria you can download for free the list of postcodes and cities from the austrian post (i think it's on their data services branch datakom's website).

that's all i know.
