Hi everyone,
I thought I already found THE forum and then I get an email - this place is great. Anyways, I do have a question besides announcing my arrival...
I got cornered. I do all the SEO for my company website. Now all the product managers want me to give a formal presentation to them concerning the engines and what they can do to help me and increase their product presense online. Okay, this is great, I have real support, however, I need some documentation that is written towards this audience. Does anyone have any obscure articles that cast a nice glow on SEO? All the articles and information I have would be great if I was talking to code jockies but these people don't generally understand HTML. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you ever find anything RC that was to your liking? I'd think the place to look for good SEO promo material for laymen, would be to look on commercial promotion/seo sites. They are trying to get customers of course, but the pitch would work for marketing managment types too.

I tend to agree with Brett. Look at some of the sites that offer SE promotion and "Borrow" Some of thier info.

yup - it went over okay. People seemed a little upset that SEs aren't easy. But I am getting the go ahead to tackle all sorts of directories (paid and not paid). Now I am getting calls like crazy to set up meetings to overhaul areas on the web. I hate to say it but I am extremely lucky I work for a company that recognizes SEO and is receptive to employee ideas. Thanks for all the articles guys. (however, thanks to this - I now have a s**t load of work!)
