Doing Business Under one "Main" Name.

Hello,

I have a company, let's call it "AAA INC." I use this entity for my Postal Box, etc. I also have a bank account in this name. This name is a registered business, and has a business resellers liscence.

I am looking to open up a e-commerce shop under another name, let's call it "BBB CLOTHING COMPANY". Can i use the business resellers liscence, and business registration of the "main company" above to purchase goods for this clothing company?

Or do i need to register BBB CLOTHING COMPANY and apply for a resllers permit with this company?

Talk to your cpa about setting up a DBA under AAA, INC.

Go for DBA ==="Doing business as" and that will work fine for you.
