Hello

I'm in need of a good website lease agreement. I own a site that I would like to lease out to a lawyer. This includes the domain name and website and all business that come sin through it.

Thanks

I think you should talk to a lawyer about this. :)

Kidding aside, retain a lawyer to represent you in the deal. You might fully have the ability to deal with the lawyer/leasee on your own, but it's good to have a professional in your corner.

FWIW, IF you manage to find an attorney interested in a lease deal chances are pretty good that the lawyer, not you, will be drafting the lease agreement (or heavily editing your version) AND THEN, confronted by that lawyer's lease agreement, YOU will likely (if you're wise) seek out a legal opinion about the lease terminology the lawyer inserted.

So, bottom line, if you (a layman) are going to field a game (contract a deal) against a big league team (a legal professional) chances are you're going to have to do some recruiting.

In the simplest of layman's terms: If you think what you have is a big deal, possibly worth $thousands, then don't be cheap - hire a lawyer to draft your agreement.

Ask the lawyer if they can provide a draft lease agreement.
If they do, take that document to your private attorney and have it corrected to keep it fair and balanced.

There will be changes to it, but it should be a document agreeable to you both.
