I see many people using opensource software for theirs website. For example, <snip> use phpbb for phpbb hosting. What's legal issue when i take an shopping cart script to implement free shopping cart hosting website. What I need to do to don't have any trouble law problem?
P/S: sorry for my bad english.

1. Read the licence agreement(s)
2. Talk to your lawyer

If the software is licensed under any of the usual open source licenses (e.g. GPL, BSD, any GPL compatible license) then you are unlikely to have legal issues about just using the software on your own site.

If you want to redistribute the scripts, then you will have to abide by the license terms on redistribution.
