Hi,

I'm a little confused at the moment, we currently have a site which is topping anywhere near 4'000 - 12'000 unique hits every single day for the last 12 months +

We are currently trying to figure out which ways best to go, We have GoogleAds and amazon, should we get rid and publish our own online store?

Just a little lost and we want to go about it in the right way, and not just sling prices everywhere and scare off people.

What other ideas do we have to generate this hobby, which weve worked hard on pay a little back or maybe a business?

Please let us know your thoughts..

Kind regards,

Jonathan

Not exactly sure I know what you mean.

So currently, you have adSense and Amazon ads on your website. You're debating wether or not to get rid of those ads and put up an online store on the website.

Did I get that right?

How are the google and amazon ads treating you?

Ok, your about right there.

The ads are not making alot though, say $20 - $100 a month or so.

Im just confused on what I can establish the site as and make some real money.

Is there any E-com developing sites who have written stories on how they made it successfull? What options do I have? I'm willing to put some money into the build to create results.

Kind regards,

Jonathan

Perhaps you should run your own store, but not take over your existing site, but compliment it. Start rotating google / amazon ads with same-size ads to your own store. If you can get the same revenue per click from your own store's ads, compared to google's ads, then you can cut out the other ads all together.

Start embedding links into relevant articles straight to your products, and possible look into promoting the store directly.

It seems a very challenging project and not for the faint hearted.

I make more than $100 /month on google ads on a site that only brings in 300+ unique visitors a day - and you are dealing with thousands?

What is your CTR?

Chitika might be worth looking into, depending on your site. But there have been some major fluctuations with them as of late.
