Hi all,
Just wanted to know how much you would charge for your services to your customers.

I have somebody who wants me to do a job for them. I have not given them a price yet because I don't know what to charge. They want a web site of about 15 to 20 pages a few forms here and there and a mailing list. They also want me to do their SE Optimization.

What do you think?

circuitjump, discussing actual monetary amounts of pricing is not a viable option because of possible implications. See this thread which covers the issue of open pricing discussion:

[webmasterworld.com...]

There are several threads in the Professional Webmasters Business Issues forum that discuss the different methodologies of pricing: hourly, by the page, by the project, etc., as well as the issue of design and optimization separately or in combination.

Discussing methods of arriving at pricing is helpful, especially since different skill levels and geographical locations can be a determining factor.

Run through some threads in the forum, there's a wealth of good information and advice to be gleaned.
