Earned a Masters in IT...what should I learn next?

i am a freelance web developer, i just finished my Masters in IT and now i am looking for a bright future, i have started coding in php and would love to have my future relating to internet programming, please suggest me that how can i secure my future with internet programming and which else tools should i learn and most of all in php which field should i choose to master, like system programming,network programming or whatever else and also which direction of web programming will be in demand in next five years,

I'd reccomend getting some real life experience. Some things that will be in demand are data mining of sites, content generators, backlink checkers, ppc bid management tools, click fraud bots and fraud detection tools. With these things you can have alot of fun and make alot fo money.

i wonder if you could tell me about PPC bid management tools thay what are they and whats their purpose and if i can see any online example of it

Basically you write an API that interfaces with google adwords or yahoo search marketing that performs a task easier than it can currently be performed.

Perhaps it's a simple cron job script that has a few text boxes where I can input a start and stop time on a webpage and your script will log into my adwords/YSM account and turn on or off my ads during the time I specified.

There are already windows based programs out there that do some things like this. Search for "PPC Management" or "PPC Management software" to find some examples. IMO an app is much better suited for tasks like these because of the statelessness of the web.
