Hi

I have been approached with an offer from someone who wants to buy my site. I don't know how to evaluate the value of the site though. It hasn't generated very much revenue since I started it, but there is a prety good traffic. An average of 800 unique visitors a day with 7000 page views per day.

Can someone suggest a pricing strategy.

Thanks

There are number of things that go into deciding what the value is of a web site. Most of the time 2 to 5 years of annual earnings would be the asking price. How much money do you have after expenses? You must consider how long the domain name is and if it has it's main keyword in the domain.

The amount of traffic a web site gets is also important. Does the traffic come from paid or free advertisement? Obviously free traffic is the best. How much money does is it make? Where do you make the money from? Does it come from advertisement, membership, services or products?
