I have two web-savvy kids and I’m constantly trying to stay on top of their web surfing…It gets difficult because I’m very busy with work, etc…I don’t use any of the “nanny” applications because in the past, when I tried to install them, my system started to crawl….
Anyway, a neighbor told me about a local pc guy who offers family pc security plans….I haven’t heard any details yet, but it sounds interesting to me because of the time I can save…it also sounds like a good business idea.
Does anyone here have experience with this type of service? Is there such a thing as “outsourcing” your family pc’s security?
Does anyone think that home pc security might possibly be a good business to focus on?
Thanks!
It costs time and money to learn how to use a PC, and helping someone with that is a valuable service. You outsource your home security, health security, and social security ... why not your family's pc security?
Welcome to WebmasterWorld eelhandroll.
It seems that many parents aren't aware of their kid's surfing habits, etc...I might look into this in more detail...
I'm also curious to see if anyone has ever used remote access to monitor a client's PC for security breaches, or any other family PC related issues (like sites visited by their kids).
Thanks!
