Register.com Issues?

DNS servers blank

Got a customer that couldn't get to his site this AM, and lo and behold his DNS info in register.com is completely blank. No changes in registration in two years. He uses the site daily so this JUST happened.

Anyone else having problems with them? Trying to figure out if it's a prob. with register.com in general or if it's a hack of some kind.

Funny. Over the course of today he got it resolved, his DNS numbers are back, but register.com's not talking. :-)

Fortunately he has his own cert so he was able to alert his subscribers via email to go to the secure site or the IP address.

He hasn't been into his domain account fortwo years and had lost the login info, he had to call and pass some info over phone to validate his ID to get them to reset the pass.

I have never seen this happen with any registrar, ever, I wonder if they got hacked.
