Can anybody tell me what the following terms mean in UK or just plain English please:

- Net 30 days (as in payment terms) - 30 calendar days?

- ECCN and Harmonizer codes (some sort of US export license? do you know if it would be relevant to UK products being resold by a US company?)

- SRP (of a product)

That's it. I'm happy to reciprocate with translations of UK terms ;-)

ECCS: Export Control Classification Number

HTS: Harmonized Tariff System is a universal 10-digit classification system used to provide excise rates for (almost?) every item in existance.

SRP: (unsure but possibly): Scan Reflectance Profile is the reflectance values of a bar code symbol.

A search, especially for the first two terms, will give you lots of info.

do you know if it would be relevant to UK products being resold by a US company?

I think the ECCN is only for exports from the US (but I may be wrong).
The other two may well apply - do some online research or ask a freight forwarder for clarification (they should be up to speed on the labrynth that is US trade regulations).

Too simple for this Canuck. But then I never "suggest" my pricing.

net 30 days = you owe the entire amount (the 'net', as opposed to some percentage of the total amount) in 30 days time.
