How much would you be happy with each year (after tax)?

$50K?
$100K?
$200K?
$500K?

If so, justify why you need that much :)

I earn well under your lowest salary listed there, and I'm satisfied. Wish I could pay my school loans off sooner, life would be easier that way.

Don't know what I would do if I had that kind of cash you listed.

My goal is $300K. I would love to have more than that but if I get stuck there I'm fine. I want to go on nice vacations, put my kids in private school, buy my wife nice presents, have a nice home with nice stuff in it, have a good car that costs around $50K.

Heh heh, what you "need" and what you would "be happy with" often have different answers.

Do I have everything I need? Yes.
Am I satisfied with that? Not yet!

a good car that costs around $50K

I prefer to drive an older car and invest the difference in something that will hold its value long-term ... including some charities whose work I believe in.

Of course what I need is not much. As long as my wife and I have each other and a roof over our head and food I would be happy as well. I was just talking about goals. I give to my church and other places as well.

I'm reminded of the fella who declared one night that he was just about to celebrate making his first million. He dinna seem quite as excited as I would expect, but my confusion was cleared up as he muttered something about hoping the second million would not also take 25 years to acquire. :)

I need 14 millions for me.
What is going to do with with it.
1, give to charity for Tsunami victims
2, feel the hunger,
3, build schools,
4, build hospitals,
5, build churchs.
what is in for me.
three meals,
place to sleep and good health.
That's all I need . Be happy.
If Donald Trumph. I don't think he happy as compare to me. Even those I am not that rich.

Im on about 30k a year, at 22 I class that as pretty good, about 15k is from my sites and 15k from a day job...

The reason I stay in the day job is cos I tried working at home for 3 months, felt bored and very detached... So unless your earn £1m and can get your mates out for Golf on a daily basis working in a day job suits.

Millions so I can help myself and help others less fortunate :)

I'm a bit sad. Sometimes I write a list of what I would do with my lottery winnings....

I'm with Gopi. Build fast and aggressive. Save all my money. Things that are easy today will likely not be so easy 3 years from now.
