Tax question.

Selling scripts, ebooks, or members area....

Country: USA (I think I know the answer, but maybe a lawyer will post a good answer!) :)

Let's say you got a members area of your site, or you sell scripts, programs, or ebooks through PayPal. Is that money taxed exactly as if it's income from work or an affiliate program? I'm guessing you do have to report it, listing it as 'Other income'. :(

If you are are US citizen then all income is "income to be declaired" wherever it comes from, unless you want to defraud the IRS that is?
