Hello,

I have a <popular> site and am currently selling some ad space at flat rates. I have installed an ad managment program and want to charge advertisers based on PPC. How do I decide the pay per click? by guessing or some kind of calculation?

Thanks for any input.

Research CPC prices at some of the popular affiliate program aggregators (Commission Junction, etc.). That should give you an idea of the going rates for clicks.

Another thing to compare would be popular PPC search engine prices for keywords relevant to your site. Although you're not going to get away with charging that much it will give you some perspective.

You do realize you're gonna have to filter out clicks from bots (search engine spiders, spambots), right? With <edit> site you're gonna get significant "clicks" from bots.
