Hi

I'm interested in starting a business doing freelance projects for small companies. I'm particularly interested in the following areas:

1) PHP and web development
2) MS Access, SQL Server, Visual Basic application development

Does anyone know of some good websites where there are leads for freelancers like me?
It'd be great if someone can give me a list to get started.

Thanks,
Gary

Believe me if anyone has any leads on this forum, we'll be the last to know :-(

You would be better sticking your details in some business directories, on and off the web, and maybe some local level of advertising too

You can definitely post your availability in the Commercial Exchange [webmasterworld.com] that dwilson mentioned. Many members are looking for others to compliment their skillset to offer a full gamut of web development services.

There are some other sites on the web that offer posting for freelancers, but please don't post them here. A search on Google for the type of site you are looking for should reveal the best places to look for freelance projects.

You can also trying digging through the related DMOZ categories [dmoz.org].
