Where to start...

Hi all

Does anyone know about putting a valuation on an online business?

I'm just wondering if there is an accepted standard for valuation for sale, such as multiple of turnover, repeating membership revenue, profit ratio - that sort of thing.

Are there people who specialise in selling online businesses?

Thanks in advance
Cy

Deja Vu.

There is a very recent thread about this somewhere.

There was a recent thread. Try this one: BusinessValuation [webmasterworld.com]

If your aren't sure of what you are doing and there is a reasonable sum involved, hire an accountant or a business valuation specialist.

Good Luck,
