I hope not because rather than reinvent the wheel I'd love to get some advice from some of the other folks here on how they run their own shops.
Our development and delivery process is "difficult" to say the least, married together with a delivery manager who sows discord rather than unity it becomes really very difficult indeed. Now I've managed to silence the delivery manager (told him his contract wasn't being renewed... oh the pleasure) and we've got the new guy already started but it still doesn't solve our issues.
Is there anyone out there that has a simple solution or process overview that they find works well? Dev-build-config-delivery style... Even if it won't apply directly I'm sure it will inspire me in some way.
Any help would be greatly apprciated.
