Is it better to use countrywidget.net or widget.org.cctld? It's a directory site.
Thanks.

If its for proffit I'd say go with the .net. If not and that country cctld .org is your target market, might as well go with that.

Ok, you think countrybusiness.net is better than business.org.tld? It's for commercial.
Thanks again.

If you are trying to only target just that specific country then I'd go with www.widget.org.cctld. Of course a .co.cctld would be better.

I'd say the less hyphens/dots, the better. A domain name with a single dot is neater. The disadvantage of .net is that people might often type .com by mistake.

My suggestion was mainly based on search engine rankings; a .co.uk will generally do better in Google.co.uk.
