probably has been already discussed but I can't find the thread so I just ask a question:

what would be the advantage to have a .eu domain name? is it something you would suggest to have or not?

Geotargeting strategies come to mind: .eu domain hosted in a .eu country might gain some traffic in localized search.

Pretty big local, though. :)

or very small and targetted if g continue geo link sniffing ..
i somehow cant see that if i register an .eu domain from france to a french site on a french server with text in french language that I am gonna show in maltese serps ..
or finnish etc ..

or at least not on page one in google which has 80% of eyeballs here
