all domains on a given IP

I want to find out ALL domains on a given IP. I know the most popular service offers this sort of lookup but they only list the first 2000 domains.

However, I want a complete list (over 2000 domains). Is there a way/service that makes it possible to look it up?

Thanks

What do you think the net gain will be for the action?

How will knowing this change things? Improve things for you?

I've had reason to explore this issue before. I find, for the most part, that such "data" - in the end - is seldom material. It may satisfy a curiousity, but in material terms - for purposes that I thought it might matter - it didn't, and the time spend could have been better spent on other processes.

What do you think having this data this will gain you?

does it matter?

That would depend on the answer to the question.

For instance, if the concern was motivated by a belief that hosting on a server with "bad domains" would be bad for ranking then there's a fair body of opinion that says such concerns are misplaced - all other factors being equal.

Not to mention the registrars and registries aren't too keen on giving domain name and
server information to third parties.

Doesn't WebSpy do that?

Folks, this is going to be a "1 time only" subject and then, with permission of upper management, I plan to incorporate the gist - not the substance - of this thread into an Answers to Repeated Questions Info Thread that will be archived in the library.

So . . . anyone else who knows of any other tool or service provider that provides this type of service please feel free to add it.

I deem this question - about specialized commercial tools and services - that falls into the category of subjects that are best handled by a library reference - to be built - only.

Still working on policy and procedure, so bear with me and thanks for all the helpful input. No disrepect intended by any modification. Just working out the details as I attempt to open up the dialogue a bit whilst keeping a lid on promotional posts.

To clarify, what I see of Webspy now is not the program that I have. I can't tell if they are even the same producers.
The Webspy that I have was a free program picked up years ago and will list all domains in a given IP range or id the IP number of a given Domain name.
Not sure if that helps anyone.

I used tools at w_hois.sc and netcraft.com when I was looking for a better hosting company. Once I had a candidate I needed to check the speed and other parameters of some sites they hosted (because most hosting companies host their sites on super servers, often hosted by other companies). It was quite valuable information.

PS - remove the underscore from the first domain name. I don't know why, but this domain name is automatically censored here (replaced by this string: "#*$!")
