I really beleive they're after the market share of file trading softwares more than they're worried about the domain name. Time Warner has a definite interest in whether you trade MP3's or not...they would rather you didn't without paying them.

No doubt about it for me. AOL saw the domain name as the "soft spot" (ugh! almost used we*kest l*ink) -an easy way to derail Aimster and upset their momentum.
