I'm looking to move some of my domains to a different registrar, due to cost, features etc, but I'm concerned that google will reset the pagerank of the transfered domains to zero, as it usually does for expired domains.

Does anyone have any experience of what happens to pagerank when you change registrars.

Absolutely nothing if my recent experience is any indication. To the best of my knowledge there has never been a correlation between your domain registrar and PageRank.

It has no affect on how search engines view your site. When you change registrars, you'll need to basically change your DNS servers to the new registrars DNS servers (you don't even have to do that if you don't want to). As long as your IP does not change, you are good to go. In fact, changing your IP does not really matter either. I've done that as well and never seen a change in my rankings, which are very high (#1) for my keywords.

Good luck!
