Greetings to all at WebmasterWorld from a long-time lurker, first-time poster.

I was wondering what you folks think about the value of domain names that are common typos of popular words? (For example: tyop dot com) [mods: I'm not associated with this domain in any way still, please do remove the example if you find it unpermissible]

I guess apart from any type-in traffic such domains may generate, there won't be much other value attached to them. Any thoughts?

Yes. I am just now starting to see the value in these names, especially after discovering one of them yesterday that is actually an internet key word with thousands of inquiries thru a key word service sugggestion tool. Don't pass them up if you find one.
