I'm planning on redesigning my website and I'm taking to heart Lisa's 13 guidelines...

This website will be kind of a personal/commercial site, content to consist of personal opinions and advice, alternative health information, and book reviews and links. I've been throwing one- and two-word descriptions around on snapnames.com and thesaurus.com and most of those terms I think to be appropriate are taken. (dot coms, of course)

So my question is, what are some other good sources of domain name ideas, "widget" alternative terms or descriptions.

Also, how does one come up with a "brandable" name when one is an individual doing a little bit of affiliate/associate selling and not having or likely to have a brand?

I like the name tool on directnic.com. It'll take your keywords and suggest things that are actually available.

In the industry there are two major way to go.

Name Intelligence, Inc.
powers godaddy, enom

Applied Semantics, Inc. (owned by Google now)
powers register.com, netsol

Disclosure: I am an employee of Name Intelligence, but this is what we do.
