Any WebSphere Experts?

Need info on converting dynamic urls to static for SE's

We are running WebSphere servlets and want convert our dynamic URL's that include parameter values, such as %, ?, and & into characters that a search engine can spider.

I've seen a script to convert similar parameters into search engine friendly characters for PHP.

Any Ideas?
