ASP and indexing...

I'm a bit out of my comfort zone when it comes to .asp pages. I have noticed a lot of .asp site are well indexed in various SE's.

Any search engines that don't care for .asp at all???
And, any good places to learn a bit more about search engine work-arounds for .asp???
