I need suggestions to open my own affiliate program...

Hello,
I am working to start my own affiliate program as a merchant after 5 year of affiliates through ClickBank (I currently have 400 affiliates and I'd like to handle them in a better/direct way, besides because I have just dropped ClickBank service).

I have some doubt how to organize it because, firstly, I don't know if it's better to pay my affiliates directly or through a 3rd party processor (such as CJ or others).

Any idea and advice is very welcome!

If you are an advertiser trying to recruit more affiliates CJ or Linkshare is best - but both are expensive. Both networks have thousands of affiliates. However, if you feel comfortable doing your own recruiting use something like Kowabunga's My Affiliate Program or DirectTrack.

Kowabunga has a relatively new network called Kolimbo. The volume of affiliates is not on the same level as CJ and LinkShare, but it's a steady flow.

I have heard from many of our affiliates that they LOVE share-a-sale. Many have tried to get us to switch from Linkshare.
