Unlike Google's AdSense, RealContext's innovative matching engine includes a feedback loop that actively monitors audiences' behavior. In real-time, it adapts to the likes and dislikes of consumers to display content relevant ads that are also targeted to match their interests

I participate with Ad Sense and *Ad Sonar. The dismal earnings on Ad Sonar and the seeming lack of a diversity of ads makes this program a non-performer for me. I couldn't possibly afford to dedicate many pages to them.

My point here being, its not the ad matching technology that will make a program sucessful its having advertisers.

Adsense had a waiting pool of advertisers (AdWords advertisers) ready to go from day one.

To me it only seems Overture can come close to matching this and launching a viable competition to AdSense.

Someone just coming out with a new ad technology without advertisers already on board is going to have a hard up hill climb.

Broadway's experience reflects that of my clients--and common sense.

The two alternatives worth looking at might be Kanoodle or Industry Clicks, IF they get some ads in a category you're involved with.

Quigo's Ad Sonar is a non-starter.

One reason could be the lack of advertisers. It looks like they were getting a feed from FindWhat and it was pulled a few weeks ago so now they have just a handful of advertisers. Hard to do anything like that.
